Avior 250 SC contains azoxystrobin which is derived from a group of naturally occurring compounds with fungicidal properties produced by various wood decaying mushrooms. Disease Control
Avior 250 SC is an effective systemic fungicide, providing control of more than 33 diseases including Anthracnose, Take-All Patch, Brown Patch, Leaf Spot/Melting out, Rust diseases, Type 2 Fairy Rings and many other tough turf diseases.
Avior 250 SC fungicide active ingredient, azoxystrobin, protects plants inside and out. Upon application, Avior 250 SC quickly distributes evenly throughout the plant, providing long-lasting protection against a wide range of foliar, crown and root-infecting fungi on plants .
Total root-to-leaf distribution
Azoxystrobin, the active ingredient (AI) in Avior 250 SC , is taken into turf blades quickly for protection upon application. Rainfall or irrigation will wash some of the remaining active ingredient down the surface of the turf and moves into and through thatch to the soil. Roots absorb it and helps control soilborne diseases and continues up through the entire
plant for additional foliar protection.
Systemic activity
Avior 250 SC is highly systemic and exhibits high mobility once inside the plant. It is transported through the xylem to cover all leaf tissue up to the leaf blade tips. The active ingredient is continuously delivered upward for even distribution to new growth.
